Dance With Style Dance Circuit

A community of non-political and independent European pro-am events, designed to connect, develop, and reward teachers, students, and the organizers.

The Dance with Style Circuit was created to honor those students and teachers showing dedication and commitment to their competitive dancing. Made up of endorsed events, the Dance with Style Circuit is focused on recognizing the outstanding achievements of Pro-Am Students and teachers from Europe and beyond.

We are honored to celebrate the achievements of our Pro-Am winners every year at the Dance with Style Circuit with thousands in cash prize money, trophies, and awards.

Accumulation of Points and Awards rules

Participation in any one of the Dance with Style Circuit Events will earn you points to determine your ranking.

Accumulation of points for students:
1. Results/Placing (the higher the placing is, the more points you will receive)

Accumulation of points for teachers:
1. Number of entries (each entry will make you receive 10 points) in Single Dances, Multi Dances, Scholarships and Championships.

The pointing system for students based on results:

PRO/AM SINGLE DANCE EVENTS

(Bronze, Silver, Gold & Above Single Dances)

• 1st place: 8 points
• 2nd place: 7 points
• 3rd place: 6 points
• 4th place: 5 points
• 5th place: 4 points
• 6th place: 3 points
• 7th place (in the final): 2 points

Uncontested will be rewarded with 3 points, if there are 2 couples, the winner will be awarded with the 4 pts and the runner up with 3 pts, in case of 3 couples competing, 1st place - 5 pts, 2nd - 4 pts, 3rd - 3 pts, in case of 4 couples competing, 1st - 6 pts, 2nd - 5, 3rd - 4 pts, 4th - 3 pts, in case of 5 couples competing, 1st - 7 pts, 2nd - 6 pts, 3rd - 5 pts, 4th - 4 pts, 5th - 3 pts, and in case of 6 couples competing, 1st - 8 pts, 2nd - 7 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 5 pts, 5th - 4 pts, 6th - 3 pts.

PRO/AM MULTI-DANCE COMPETITIVE EVENTS

(Bronze, Silver, Gold & Above 2, 3, 4 or 5 Multi-Dance events)

• 1st place: 10 points
• 2nd place: 8 points
• 3rd place: 6 points

• 4th place: 4 points
• 5th place: 3 points
• 6th place: 2 points
• 7th place (in the final): 2 points

Uncontested will be rewarded with 2 points, if there are 2 couples, the winner will be awarded with the 3 pts and the runner up with 2 pts, in case of 3 couples competing, 1st place - 4 pts, 2nd - 3 pts, 3rd - 2 pts, in case of 4 couples competing, 1st - 6 pts, 2nd - 4 pts, 3rd - 3 pts, 4th - 2 pts, in case of 5 couples competing, 1st - 8 pts, 2nd - 6 pts, 3rd - 4 pts, 4th - 3 pts, 5th - 2 pts, and in case of 6 couples competing, 1st - 10 pts, 2nd - 8 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 4 pts, 5th - 3 pts, 6th - 2 pts.

PRO/AM CHAMPIONSHIP & SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITIVE EVENTS

(Open events)

• 1st place: 20 points
• 2nd place: 15 points
• 3rd place: 10 points
• 4th place: 8 points
• 5th place: 6 points
• 6th place: 4 points
• 7th place (in the final): 2 points

Uncontested will be rewarded with 4 points, if there are 2 couples, the winner will be awarded with the 6 pts and the runner up with 4 pts, in case of 3 couples competing, 1st place - 8 pts, 2nd - 6 pts, 3rd - 4 pts, in case of 4 couples competing, 1st - 10 pts, 2nd - 8 pts, 3rd - 6 pts, 4th - 4 pts, in case of 5 couples competing, 1st - 15 pts, 2nd - 10 pts, 3rd - 8 pts, 4th - 6 pts, 5th - 4 pts, and in case of 6 couples competing, 1st - 20 pts, 2nd - 15 pts, 3rd - 10 pts, 4th - 8 pts, 5th - 6 pts, 6th - 4 pts.

To receive the prize money

TEACHERS - All teachers must compete, at the Dance with Style Circuit Events, with a min of 30 single dance entries & minimum of 4 competitions, from the DWS Circle, to qualify.

Discrepancies & Penalties

- Any discrepancies in scoring or point accumulation must be reported in writing by email dancewithstyle@gmail.com

Please include the Name of the Competition and what category(ies).

- The discrepancies must be filed no later than 30 days after the event posted date on the Leader Board. If not, points will not count.

- We will not accept telephone calls, word of mouth, Facebook, or Twitter. It must be in writing through email.

- Teachers and students are subject to forfeiture of all points and awards for unsportsmanlike conduct, for each infraction.

All prizes and Awards will be given out on the last Dance with Style Circuit Event which will be chosen or it will be a special custom-made event where the prizes will be handed out!
